The Ard Rhi Valindil
210 points + Wargear
He is the tenth of his line since the Great Navigator to hold the name Valindil. As Ard Rhi, he is both Guide and Protector of the Realm, both Ard Draoi and Ard Fiann, both Farseer and Warrior. He has been trained all his life to lead the Kindred, he is the only one who can send forth the Crann Tarith, and call forth the Sluagh.
In the years of Valindil's birth it was foretold by the Seers that during his rule contact would once more be made with the other surviving Eldar. It was further foretold that there would be great challenges to face and dangers from beyond the Realm.
Valindil's training began early in his life with the Draoi teaching him the knowledge he would need as Ard Rhi. His studies were long and arduous, taking many tens of years. He trained also with the greatest Fiann Generals learning strategy and tactics. The Engineers taught him of their craft. he learned logistics and supply. The finest Warriors taught him the Path of the Warrior.
He was also taught the Judge's and the Olaav's crafts so that he might rule wisely, and that he would know the laws, history and traditions of his people.
Even though he was the Tanist, he served in the Fiann in battles against the Fomor, and the savage Ork hordes. Valindil showed himself to be both valorous and skillful during these battles, winning the respect of even the most hardened veterans.
His studies with the Draoi continued throughout these years and he reached the highest level of training and abilities, in every testing he was among the very top of those tested.
When it came time for him to become Ard Rhi, he did so with the full faith of all the Rhiods, Draoi, and Fianns. He has ruled wisely throughout the years, ever striving to do that which is right for his people.
During this time of change and reuniting with the other survivors of the Great Fall, Valindil keeps ever vigilant in his rule of his people and guarding them from the Great Enemy.
