Ravenwing Master Luciel
Commander of the 5th Company
40K3 conversion by Tom and Erik Setzer; Based
on 40K2 background and rules by Mike Freeman
This guy is supposed to be Nah'yen's
bitter enemy, who cut of his arm, but got his Bionic Eye ripped out in return. I thought
him up because I think it would be cool to have them go at it for a scenario.
Ravenwing Master Lucius has had a long and illustrious career
in the Dark Angels Inner Circle, and has vanquished many of the Imperium's greatest foes.
He commanded the halt of Waaagh! Nortsrog and helped defend a small outpost from a Chaos
invasion. But one battle stains his impeccable record. The infamous battle of Unthavar
III. This was when he met his Moby Dick, so to speak. Captain Nah'yen the Red, feared
pirate of Khl'ran. They never should have fought, and might have fought side-by-side at a
time. But as circumstance would have it, A selfish and greedy Planetary Governor Balthius
Barnus, lord of the Hive Planet Necropolis, said that Nah'yen and his Pirates had been
raiding the planet. This was a hollow lie, as Nah'yen was blackmailing him for his
treacherous backstabbing and his support of Chaos Cultists.
The Dark Angels went after Nah'yen, and the two forces fought
on the Imperial Planet of Unthavar III. It was a long and hard battle, with heavy
casualties for both sides. Luciel and Nah'yen inevitably found themselves in hand-to-hand
combat, and they ferociously. But once Nah'yen overbalanced himself, and Luciel cut one of
his arms off. This would have at least slowed down a normal Eldar, but Nah'yen struggled
on, but fighting with one arm, when your bleeding extremely badly is very difficult. When
Luciel was about to deliver the final blow, A lascannon blast landed inches from Luciel's,
distracting him long enough for Nah'yen to rip stab him with a power knife. Luciel fell
down, and Nah'yen ripped Luciel's bionic eye from his head, before they both collapsed
from exhaustion. The Eldar, aided by a cunning strategy by Nehla. Nah'yen's second in
command drove the Dark Angels off, and Nah'yen's arm was replaced, and he requested that
his eye be replaced with Luciel's bionic one. Luciel himself had the left side of his head
fitted with a faceplate, which incorporates a bionic eye. From that day on, Luciel has
sought his revenge, seeking the Eldar who cost him his noble features and flawless battle
record. In his travels over the galaxy, Luciel has acquired a powerfist with mysterious
origins, jet-black, and ominously marked. This is the bane of his foes which he calls the
Darkfist, and it glows with a disturbing black aura.

Special Rules
Ravenwing
Luciel is a master of the Ravenwing, and thus is immune to psychology and never
breaks.
Hates Eldar
Luciel, being a Dark Angel, has a natural dislike of aliens. This was accelerated
when he was stabbed and his bionic eye was ripped out. Luciel always hits Eldar on a
3+ in close combat.
Despises Nah'yen
Nah'yen is Luciel's mortal enemy, and he will do anything to kill him. This has
several effects on the game. Any model who can see Nah'yen may ignore the closest target
to shoot him instead. If the army Luciel commands has options for barrages, then they must
be directed at Nah'yen.
The Darkfist
The Darkfist is a sinister looking powerfist, and has a unknown type of
power generator. It is also able to parry. Because of it's eerieness and black aura, any
models in close combat with Luciel suffer a -1 penalty to their Ld.
The Faceplate of Luciel
This is a faceplate which replaces most of Luciel's head. This gives him a
+1 toughness, included in his profile, and contains a bionic eye, giving him a +1 BS, also
included in his profile.
