Pirate
Captain Nahyen the Red
Captain of Nah'yen's Reavers40K3 conversion by Tom and Erik Setzer; Based on 40K2 background and rules by Mike Freeman It is a well-known fact that somtimes the ridgid restraints of the Eldar path can be too confining for a young Eldar. When this happens they become Outcasts, and are separtated from their craftworld. Some become Scouts, and help their craftworld by scouting lost Maiden Worlds, and such, while others become pirates, ferocious raiders who pillage and plunder at will. Few of these Eldar pirate captains are as feared and despised as Nah'yen the Red. Nah'yen was born on the Craftworld of Khl'ran. As he grew into adulthood, he found that the ridgidness and infelxibility of the Eldar Path to be too restraining, and took to being a scout. He travelled the Cosmos for many years, and learned of many secrets, such as the true fate of the C'tan, and the many things that go on in secret behind closed doors in the Imperial Government. He then found that th constant defense against daemons to tiring, and returned to his beloved Craftworld to become an Dark Reaper. He then began to have other interests, such as serving in the Khlran Navy. He then learned of the viral bombing of Yahle, an Exodite world so that it could be used for Imperial colonization. He became outraged, and decided that he must dedicate his life to protecting the Eldar from cruel aliens. He founded Nah'yen's Reavers, a large pirate force, which he commanded. Using his knowledge of Imperial polotics, he was adept at blackmailing Planetary govenors, and threatening to destroy convoys, escorts, and outposts if the Eldar were attacked at all. A govenor who's chance at Terra was being threatened by knowledge that Nah'yen possesed dipatched a group of Dark Angels on a recruiting drive after the Reavers, saying that they had been raided by the Reavers many times in the last year. The battle was a long and bloody one, with many Reavers dying and Nah'yen himself losing his arm. But eventually the Dark Angels were driven back, and to this day have seeked to destroy Nah'yen, but he has always evaded them. Nah'yen has always hated humans, and the Imperium has come to rightly fear Nah'yen the Red, bloody Raider of Khl'ran!
Wargear: Master Crafted Shuriken Pistol, The Sword Naktar, Nah'yens Bionic Arm, the Red Eye
WARGEAR Nah'yen's Bionic Arm (and Body) Nah'yens arm was cut of by Deathwing Commander Luciel. It was then replaced by a greatly crafted bionic arm, which contains a power generator, which enhances his combat ability greatly. Nah'yen's bionic arm gives him +2 Strength (included in his profile above). Also, because much of Nah'yen's body is cybernetic, he recieves a 4+ unmodified save against any attacks, as the energy is projected through his various parts, creating a mini power-field. Master Crafted Shuriken Pistol This is a beautifully adorned Shuriken Pistol, given to Nah'yen ages past. It acts as a normal shuriken pistol, but allows Nah'yen to reroll any misses. The Sword Naktar This is a specially made power sword which is connected to Nah'yen's bionic arm. It strikes using his Strength 5, and allows no armour saves. The Red Eye The Red Eye was taken from the commander who took Nah'yen's arm. It includes a targeter (giving Nah'yen a +1 BS, included above) and causes terror in all Imperial forces, except for Dark Angels. This means than any Imperial forces within 8" of Nah'yen must take a Ld test or begin falling back. |
