Necron Raider Fleets

By Ender Boulais

Necron Fleets may contain any number of Escorts.

Special Rules

Gauss Weapons Batteries: Gauss Weapons Batteries use the gunnery table to determine the number of shots it takes. However due to their excellent armour piercing value, they always cause damage on a roll of 4+ rather than the targets armour. Also, due to very advanced targeting systems, Gauss Weapon Batteries always use the Closing column on the gunnery table.

Warp Cannons: Warp Cannons function exactly like Lances, except that shots from warp cannons ignore shields.

Special Orders: Necron ships may not use special orders. They are assumed to automatically pass any other leadership test that they are required to make including Disengaging (which represents them “phasing out”).

Necron Propulsion: Necron ships do not move using thrusters or solar sails like humans and Eldar. They use a system of artificially generated gravitational fields. As such, their ships are capable of moving in any direction, reguardless of facing. There is no minimum movement for Necron ships, they may move up to their full movement in any direction and then may be placed facing any direction.

Hard Wired: Necron ships and their “crews” are interfaced directly into all systems. This effect is very similar to being Braced for Impact. However, as ships are designed this way, there is no drop in the ship’s fire power. Necron ships have a 4+ save against each point of damage inflicted on them.
