The Executor class battleship is a very common design for a battleship in the Imperial Navy. Despite this fact, there were none present in the Gothic sector during the time of the Gothic war, although some of the reenforcement fleets that arrived in the final days of the war, after the warp storms surrounding the sector began to die down, contained these ships. The Executor carries examples of all commonly used imperial naval weaponry, making it very flexable and preferred by commanders leading task forces where enemy opposition is uncertain. One unique feature of the Emperor's Reach is the Nova cannon mounted in the large turret mechanism just forward of the bridge. This is an extremely potent weapon and the turret give it a much larger degree of flexability than those that are mounted on smaller Imperial capital ships.

Note: The Executor class battleship is heavy to
manoeuvre and cannot use the Come to New Heading special order. The Emperor's Reach may increase the arc of it's nova cannon to Left/front/right for an additional cost of +25 pts. |
