Starship Troopers Bugs

For those of you who are interested, here is my take on the Arachnids. As I said before, I don't have a clue what to do about the Brain Bug. I'm open for suggestions. It has to be able to do more than what was shown in the movie. Burrowing for the Tanker is based on a comment made by Khorne and is a last minute addition (your credit, dude).

Psychology: Uropygi are immune to all psychology and will pass all Break tests. Uropygi cause Fear.

Parry: The Uropygi can use their attack claws to parry up to two incoming attacks.

Points Calculation:
55(base - Tyranid Warrior) + 6(changes) = 61

Psychology: Opiliones are immune to all psychology. Opiliones cause Fear.

Flying: Opiliones are capable of flying at speeds of up to 30". This is their maximum speed; they can not double this rate to *run* or *charge*. They do not fight on the ground.

Hit and Run Attack: Opiliones can make a hit and run slashing attack using the carapaces that cover their wings when not in flight. This attack has a Combat Score Modifier of +2.

Stinger Attack: The stinger attack is Strength 4 with a Saving Modifier of -1. Due to the strength of the venom, the attack causes d3 wounds instead of just 1.

Points Calculation:
55(base - Tyranid Warrior) + 28(changes) + 5(H&R) + 10(Stinger Attack) = 98

Psychology: Amblypygi are immune to all psychology. Amblypygi cause Terror.

Acid Spray: The Amblypygi's main attack is a highly corrosive fluid spray. This attack is Strength 6 with a Save Modifier of -3. The attack uses the Heavy Flamer template. Due to the size of the creature and the height from which the attack may potentially be launched, the template may be shifted forward up to 6".

Crush Attack: The Amblypygi may forego its acid spray attack and attack by attempting to crush its target. Any hits are resolved at Strength 10 casuing D3 Wounds each.

Burrower: The Amblypygi can enter the table by burrowing for a cost of +40 points. This enable the beast to be placed on the board at the beginning of the Arachnid player's Movement phase in any turn. Mark the spot where the Amblypygi appears with a 6" diameter marker. This indicates the terminus of a tunnel that is useable by any Uropygi (Warrior Bugs) that have been held in Reserve. 3+D3 Warrior Bugs may exit the tunnel each turn.

199(base - Carnifex) - 14(changes) - 20(Carapace) + 20(Acid Spray) = 185

SPECIAL:

Psychology: Solifugres are immune to all psychology. Solifugres cause Fear.

Plasma Barrage: Solifugres' main attack is a plasma barrage designed primarily to target vessels in high planetary orbit, however it can be used as artillery. It cannot target enemies within 20" and has a maximum range of 80". The attack is treated as a maximum strength heavy plasma gun and is Move Or Fire.

Indirect Fire: Solifugres are capable of using their Plasma Barrage in Indirect mode.

Critical Hits: Any hit causing 3 or more wounds has a chance of causing a critical hit and killing the bug instantly with catastrophic results. For each hit that causes 3 or more wounds, roll a d6. On a roll of ¡1', the hit has caused critical damage and the bug explodes. This explosion causes all objects within 10" to receive a Strength 6 hit with no additional modifiers.

Points Calculation:
199(base - Carnifex) - 20(Carapace) - 10(Terror) - 20(changes) - 40 (Bio-Plasma) + 40(HvyPlasma) + 10(Indirect Fire) = 159
