Thorgrim IronfistSquat Warlord40K3 conversion by Tom and Erik Setzer; Based on 40K2 background and rules by Mike Freeman It is well known that eons ago, humans went searching for precious minerals in the gravity-dense galactic core. During that time, the humans were cut off from Terra for thousands of years by warp storms. When Earth made contact again, they had changed both physically and mentally, a new race called the Squats. The Squats have very different virtues than humans, valueing loyalty and other such honourable traits more precious than the minerals they mine. Few display these virtues better than Thorgrim Ironfist, leader of the League of Grimlock. A virtual portrait of Squatiness, he is loyal to the last, ever grudgefull of anyone that has ever crossed him, and is frequently swigging from his ale mug. He often goes into irrepressable rages when in battle, no doubt a result of the countless foes he has racked up over his years of battle, uncountable battles remembered, and the participants of every one. Suck furies are his calling card, along with his specially implanted muscle enhances, from which he gets the name "Ironhand". His opponents have learned to fear this trait, as it can bring destruction to the most powerful opponent, no matter how skilled or well armoured.
Weapons: The Axe Morglum, bolt pistol, frag grenades, Ironfist.
WARGEAR The Axe Morglum Morglum is Thorgrim's family axe. It started out as a power axe, but has changed over the centuries to a much more fearsome weapon. Because he is so familiar with it, Thorgrim may parry with it, forcing one of his opponents to reroll one of their close combat to hit rolls. Ironfist Once named Thorgrim Morglum, he took the name "Ironfist" to suit the special muscle enhancers in his arms, giving him formidable strength. Thorgrim recieves a +2 Strength bonus (included in his profile above). |
