Squad: The Bike Squadron consists of between two and four Bikers and a Sergeant.

Weapons: Each bike is fitted with twin-linked bolters. Each Biker is armed with a bolt pistol.

Options: Up to two Bikers in the Squad may be armed with one of the following weapons: flamer at +3 pts, meltagun at +10 pts, plasma gun at +6 pts.

Any model in the squadron may be armed with a close combat weapon at +3 pt.

The entire Squad may have blind grenades at an additional cost of +4 pts per model.

Character: The Sergeant may be upgraded to a Veteran Sergeant for a cost of +15 pts. The Veteran Sergeant may be given additional equipment from the Force Recon Armory.

Attack Bike: The bike squadron may include one Attack Bike at a cost of 50 pts. The Attack Bike is armed with a heavy bolter. The heavy bolter may be replaced with a multi-melta for an additional cost of +15 points.

Squad: The squadron consists of between one and three Attack Bikes.

Weapons: Each bike is fitted with twin-linked bolters and a pintle-mounted heavy bolter. Each Force Recon biker is armed with a bolt pistol.

Options: Each Attack Bike can replace its heavy bolter with a multi-melta for +15 pts. The entire Squad may have blind grenades at an additional cost of +4 pts per model.

Type: Fast, Skimmer. Note that as the crew of the land speeder is wearing power armor, the land speeder does not count as open-topped.

Crew: 2 Force Recon Marines.

Weapons: Heavy bolter.

Option: The heavy bolter can be upgraded to the multi-melta at an additional cost of +15 pts.

Land Speeders Note: The different types of Land Speeder may be mixed in one squadron in any combination, so long as the squadron remains within one to three models.

Sentinel Squadron

Type: Walker, Note that as the crew of the Sentinel is wearing power armor, the Sentinel does not count as open-topped.

Squadron: The squadron consists of between 1 and 3 Sentinels.

Crew: One Force Recon Marine.

Weapons: The Sentinel is armed with any one of the following: heavy bolter at +15 pts; missile launcher at +20 pts; lascannon at +35 pts; multi-melta at +40 pts, plasma cannon at +40 pts, or assault cannon at +40 pts.

SPECIAL RULES

Scouts: Sentinels are usually at the forefront of any fighting force, scouting out the advance terrain and picking out good deployment locations. After both sides have deployed all their forces but before the start of the first turn, all Sentinels may make a "free move" using normal movement rules. If both sides have Sentinels, or other forces allowed a pre-game move, roll a D6 to see which side moves first. If desired, the Force Recon player can also place any Sentinel squadrons down at the start of the game, even if the mission special rules call for certain unit placement that would normally preclude setting them out initially. These can be placed along with any other units that would be normally placed as part of the mission special rules.

Type: Open-topped, Fast

Crew: 2-3 Force Recon Marines

Weapons: Up to two weapon mounts: Multi melta for 25pts or heavy bolter for 15. May take the same weapon twice if desired.

Transport: SRVs armed with only one weapon may transport up to 5 scouts. Larger squads may be split up amongst SRVs as long as they maintain squad cohenency. An SRV mounting two weapons may not be used for transport.
