The Norha KhataiHunters of the Evil One40K3 conversion by Tom and Erik Setzer; Based on 40K2 background and rules by Mike Freeman If you peruse the Eldar Codex, you will read of the great Fall which devastated the Eldar people. What I find odd is that, after all Slaanesh did to them, not one troop type of the Eldar is affected by hatred towards Slaanesh. Actually, not one Eldar troop type is affected by any sort of pychology, such as frenzy(not that i'm really care, I do fine without it). Well, back to the point, I thought it would be cool if the Eldar had some grim guys draped in black who hunt the foul daemons of the Warp. Of all the Eldar troops wich travel the spaceways defending their people, few are more respected than the dreaded Norha Khatai, which loosely translated into "Hunters of the Evil One" They are somewhat like Aspect Warriors, yet they are highly superior, and rarely interact with any Eldar but themselves and the Farseer of their Craftworld. Some say they are Exarchs who have been driven to the brink of insanity by their constant fighting and practicing. Others say they are mystical beings sent by the Eldar gods to protect their people. Still others assume they are a special type of Harlequin, as this would expalin there aloof(even for an Eldar) behaviour and dark demeanor. The Norha Khatai rarely participate in any battles unless they are with the foul gods of Chaos. Most especially, they train to fight Slaanesh, the great Bane of the Eldar. They have been conditioned for centuries to fight the evil daemons of the Warp, and it has been said that sometimes they have even triumphed over the Greater Daemons. In the Craftworld of Khl'ran, for instance, it is said that in a secret chamber lies the head and jewels of a Keeper of Secrets slain eons ago. It is common to see the members of a Norha Khatai squad to be adorned with the grim remians of their past victims.
Squad: A squad of Norha Khatai constists of 3-7 members. Weapons: Swords of Treha and Shruiken Pistols.
WARGEAR Swords of Treha The Swords of Treha where forges in the black anti-flame of the Warp, which makes them especially effective against daemons. They act as power swords. Against Daemons, the Swords of Treha gain a +1 Strength. |
