Broodmaster MalakiteGenestealer Magus40K3 conversion by Tom and Erik Setzer; Based on 40K2 background and rules by Mike Freeman As you may have known, I think Tyranids are extremely cool. I wanted to make a non-Imperialcharacter, and since I borrowed a Tyranid Codex from someone(he'll be lucky if he ever sees it again, hehehe, just kidding.) Since a Hive Tyrant's already been done(Grendal), I thought i'd do a Genestealer Magus. Cool, no? It is common knowledge to the Magos or Mars that Genestealers are the advanced troops of the Tyranid Hive Fleets, often infiltrating the Imperial populace and establishing rebellious forces. They implant their DNA into their victims, cuasing a birth of a Genestealer-Human Hybrid. These brood brothers are often lead by an immense Genestealer called a Patrairch, a huge and bloated thing which develops pychic powers. His prophet is a special type a mutation that occurs only once in several generations called a Genestealer Magus. They are very rare, and most unusual. They are almost human in appearance, except for their heavy brow and complete baldness. They are accomplished psykers, adept at infiltrating into the planetary government, making allies and paving the way for the Hive Fleets. Few Maguses are more dreaded that Malakite, the Broodmaster of Sigmar. He was the cause of the bloody Sigmar III rebellion, where he managed to convince half the populace that the Emperor was a dead god, while the Hive Mind was a living and powerful god, worthy of their worship. His forces cam every close to overrunning the planet, and 3 companies of Space Marines and 100 platoons of Imperial Gaurdsmen to finally put a halt to his insane plans. He was assumed dead, but was seen again during Hive Fleet Kraken, providing support for his Tyranid masters.
Wargear: Laspistol, Dark Force Rod, Hood of the Hive Mind. Special Immune to pychology: Malakite is immune to all pychology, and never has to take a break test. Psyker: As a Magus Malakite may use psychic powers. He can use either of the Space Marine Librarian powers in the rulebook.
