Eldar Galloglaes
The Galloglaes are the common warriors of the Rhiad, they are drawn from every Craft or Artisan and Farmer of the Rhiad.

Squad: The squad consists of between 5 and 20 models
Weapons: Shuriken catapult.
Options: The entire squad may be given frag grenades at a cost of 1 pt. per model, and/or krak grenades at a cost of +2 pts. per model.
The Galloglaes squad may be joined by a heavy weapons platform at the following additional points cost: shuriken cannon at 35 points, scatter laser at 40 points, missile launcher at 45 points, lascannon at 50 points, plasma cannon at 50 points.
The heavy weapons platform has two Galloglaes as crew. If one crewman is killed the platform operates as normal, if both crew are killed the platform is useless (the platform itself can't be hit). The heavy weapon platform can move and fire.
Character: The Galloglaes may be led by a Champion Warrior at an additional cost of +6 points. This replaces one of the members of the squad. The Champion Warriors is armed with a shuriken catapult. The Champion Warrior may swap his shuriken catapult for a shuriken pistol and power sword for +3 points.
Wave Serpent: Unless accompanied by an anti-grav platform, a Galloglaes squad numbering ten or less Galloglaes may be mounted in a Wave Serpent (see the Wave Serpent entry at the end of the Troops section).

Wave Serpent: A Galloglaes Swordmen squad numbering ten or less Galloglaes may be mounted in a Wave Serpent (see the Wave Serpent entry at the end of the Troops section).

Weapons: Eldar long rifle (counts as sniper rifle), shuriken pistol.
Options: The entire squad may be given frag grenades at a cost of 1 pt. per model, krak grenades at a cost of +2 pts. per model, and/or melta bombs at +5 pts. per model.
Character: The Almaren Rangers may be led by a Ranger Champion at an additional cost of +6 points. The Champion replaces one of the normal members of the squad. The Champion Warriors is armed with an Eldar long rifle and a shuriken pistol. They may add a close combat weapon for +1 point or a power sword for +5 points.
| SPECIAL RULES Infiltators: In the right circumstances Rangers have the ability to work their way into a forward position on the battlefield. To represent this they may set up using the Infiltrators rule, but only if the mission allows Infiltrators to be used. If the mission does not allow troops to use the Infiltrators rule then the Rangers must set up normally with the rest of the army. Difficult Terrain: Lothlorien Rangers are not affected by Difficult Terrain and may move their full move through Difficult Terrain. |
Transport: WAVE SERPENT
Type: Skimmer, Tank, Fast. Weapons: Twin-linked shuriken catapults, twin-linked shuriken cannon. Options: The shuriken catapults can be upgraded to a shuriken cannon for +20 points. Transport: The Wave Serpent can carry one squad as defined in the army list. |
