Squat Wargear
40K3 conversion by Tom and Erik Setzer; Based
on 40K2 background and rules by Mike Freeman
As prosecuted, laughed at and rejected as I may think I
am as a Eldar player, the constant "pansy" remarks are little compared to the
suffering of those few proud Squat warlords who wish that, not only did they have a codex,
that they have some actual MODELS to use in battle. Well, all the Imperium's armies are
almost done with, and you Sqaut guys will get your Codex very soon. To help you along the
way, here are some Wargear cards that will help you untl you get the attention you so
really need.
Squat Ironbuster Fungus Beer..............40
point
This is a very VERY strong drink, and even the most hardy Squat has trouble swigging this
beer, dirived from a rare type of fungus. As it runs through a Squats system, it increases
is endurance and strength, and he becomes a frothing maniac. A swig is often taken in
battle to increase one's abilities. The beer may be taken at any point in the game, and it
has the following effects. It increase's the model's Strength by +2, Toughness by +1,
Attacks by +1 and his movement is increased to 8". He also becomes immune to
pychology. Each turn roll a d6. On a roll of 1 the beer has gone to the model's head, and
he collapses, snoring. He is removed from the game, no matter how many wounds he has left.
Note that he is not dead for campaign purposes, but still counts as Victory Points for
that game.
Sqaut Slaughterer Axe..............20 points
The Slaughterer axe is massive power axe, specially designed by the Squat Guilmasters
of the Stronghold to serve their warriors in battle. It is often tipped with a super-sharp
alloy unknown to the Imperium. It is very heavy, and must always be wielded with 2 hands.
It may not parry. It counts as a power weapon and adds +2 to its bearer's Strength.
Exo-Armour Weapon..............15 points
Often wealthy Squats equip their Exo-Armour with built in combi-weapons. These combi
weapons are the exact same as a normal combi-weapon, but they are fitted into the
Exo-Amour themselves, and leaves the Squat's hands free.
