Grimm Yatol-Exodite Warlord

40K3 conversion by Tom and Erik Setzer; Based on 40K2 background and rules by Mike Freeman

To me, Dragon Riders are a wicked screen troop. With a +2 armour save, they are great for soaking up basic fire while your Craftworld forces move in for the kill. I also was thinking that it would be cool to have an Exodite Lord riding around and shooting people with a brightlance. Well here is such a character. He's big, he's mean, and his dragon has no name! For now, i'll call him Doomclaw.

Not all Eldar were foolish enough during the Fall to stay around while Slaanesh grew in the Warp. Most of them left in large space fleets, which eventually became the Craftworlds that float around the galaxy today. But, a small proportion of Eldar left their homeworlds to seek out a peacefull existence elsewhere, far away from their doomed people. Some were lucky enough to find Maiden Worlds, places terraformed long ago. Some found planets which could sustain life, and they now lead a peaceful existence.

In times of need, the Exodites are often aided by Craftworld Eldar, and in return, they send troops to help other Eldar in their battles. One of the most famous relationships between Exodite and Eldar is the link between the Craftworld of Khl'ran and the Exodite planet of Beran. As Khl'ran circles a cluster of Exodite colonies, they have always been in closse relationship with Beran. They once saved it from a Chaos onslaught. Of course, they would have had to fight it anyway, but the fact that they did not leave the Exodites to die impressed the Exodites to no extent. Most truck was Grimm Yatol. Grimm is an honourable Eldar, famous for his stalwarthyness and ferocity. He made a vow that thier would be a time when the people of Khl'ran would need their assistance. Such a time did come, as the Chaos horde return, and the armies of Khl'ran were vastly depleted. So, Grimm summoned his forces, and went to the battle. The massed Dragon riders and Carnosaurs overwhelmed the minions fo Chaos, and Grimm himself saved the life of Khl'ran's most famous and revered Farseer, Khl'ra, when he was in mortal combat with a Bloodthirster. Grimm took the foul things head clean off with his Dragon Lance. Since then, they have become inseperable freinds, and the two armies will come to the others aid whenever needed.

Grimm is a reverred and feared Exodite Lord, who weilds a mighty laser lance which he calls hi Dragon Lance, a massively tall laser which some say is an adapted Brightlance. He is extremely hourable, and will always sell his life for the life of another.
