Taigan Mor, Striking Scorpion Captain

40K3 conversion by Tom and Erik Setzer; Based on 40K2 background and rules by Mike Freeman

This is the third installment of my Aspect Warrior Captain series. I should have one for every major Aspect one day at a time in the next little while.

Few Hand-to-Hand aspects are more reknowned throughout the galaxy more than the Striking Scorpion Aspect Warriors. Bearing deadly chainswords, shuriken pistols, and the menacing mandi-blasters, these heavily armoured bringers of destruction are a swirling mass of death and mayhem. Few represent this more than Taigan Mor. Known for his extreme quickness and agility, his name means "The Whirling Death". A very fitting title, to say the least. It is said that he has studies with Harlequins so that he may learn there unique and fluent dance of death. Through these studies, he seems to have perfected this technique, allowing him to be an almost unstoppable force on the field of battle. It is said that for every time he is struck by an opponent, he will hit back with double the speed and double the fury. Taigan often leads squads of Striking Scorpions straight up the battlefield to distract the foe while others work there way behind the rage of the fight.

Special Rules

Squad Leader: Taigan Mor is a squad leader, and must always lead a squad of Striking Scorpion Aspect Warriors. The size of the squad is up to you.

Whirling Death: Because of his incredible speed and ferocity, has the tendancy to move so fast in striking that he actually makes two hits. So, for every hit scored in hand-to-hand combat, roll twice to wound. For instance, if Taigen scored three hits on a Space Marine, he may roll twice for the To Wound roll on each hit, keeping the best one.
