Arbitrator Squads

Squad: The Arbitrator Squad consists of between 5 and ten Arbites.

Weapons: Bolt pistol.

Options: Any of the Arbites may be equipped with a boltgun at +2 points; an Arbites Shotgun at +2 points.

Up to two of the Arbites may be equipped with either a flamer +3 points; a plasma gun at +5 points; a meltagun at +8 points; a webber at +3 points; or a grenade launcher at +12 points.

Up to one of the Arbites may be armed with one of the following heavy weapons: heavy bolter at +5; missile launcher at +10 points; lascannon at +15 points; autocannon at +10 points; a heavy webber at +5 points.

The entire Arbitrator Squad may be equipped with frag grenades for an additional +1 point per model, and/or krak grenades for an additional +2 points per model.

Character: The squad leader may be upgraded to an Arbites Champion for +10 points.  The Arbites Champion may be given equipment chosen from the Arbites Armoury.

Chimera: If the squad numbers 10 or less models, they may include a Chimera for an additional +95 points, for details see the Chimera transport entry at the end of the Troops section.

Rhino: If the squad numbers 10 or less models, they may include a Rhino for an additional +50 points, for details see the Rhino transport entry at the end of the Troops section.


Riot Squads

Squad: The Riot Squad consists of between 5 and ten Arbites.

Weapons: Bolt pistol, baton (counts as a close combat weapon), and riot shield (adds +1 to saving throw, already included in stats).

Options: Up to two of the Arbites may be equipped with either a flamer +3 points; a plasma gun at +5 points; a meltagun at +8 points; a webber at +3 points; or a grenade launcher at +12 points.

The entire Riot Squad may be equipped with frag grenades for an additional +1 point per model, and/or krak grenades for an additional +2 points per model.

Character: The squad leader may be upgraded to an Arbites Champion for +10 points.  The Arbites Champion may be given equipment chosen from the Arbites Armoury.

Chimera: If the squad numbers 10 or less models, they may include a Chimera for an additional +95 points, for details see the Chimera transport entry at the end of the Troops section.

Rhino: If the squad numbers 10 or less models, they may include a Rhino for an additional +50 points, for details see the Rhino transport entry at the end of the Troops section.


Sniper Squads

Squad: The Riot Squad consists of between 5 and ten Arbites.

Weapons: Bolt pistol and needle sniper rifle.

Options: The entire Riot Squad may be equipped with frag grenades for an additional +1 point per model, and/or krak grenades for an additional +2 points per model.

Character: The squad leader may be upgraded to an Arbites Champion for +10 points.  The Arbites Champion may be given equipment chosen from the Arbites Armoury.

SPECIAL RULES

Infiltators:  In the right circumstances Snipers have the ability to work their way into a forward position on the battlefield.  To represent this they may set up using the Infiltrators rule, but only if the mission allows Infiltrators to be used.  If the mission does not allow troops to use the Infiltrators rule then the Snipers must set up normally with the rest of the army.

Cameoline Smocks:  Due to their Cameoline Smocks, Snipers always count as being in cover, giving a 5+ savings throw.  This counts in an assault as well, so the Snipers will always strike first.  If attacked by something that ignores cover, then their normal armour save of 5+ applies.


Transport: CHIMERA

The Chimera is the Imperium's most common armoured troop carrier and infantry support vehicle.  It can carry a full squad and one further passenger plus its own crew.  In fast moving battles the Chimera can transport its infantry squad many miles.

Once the infantry have disembarked the Chimera provides close support with its heavy bolter and multi-laser.  Its turret-mounted multi-laser is capable of cutting a swathe through enemy troops and reducing light vehicles like Warbuggies and Vypers to blazing wreckage.

This is a special entry in the army list.  Certain squads in the Adeptus Arbites army may have a Chimera to transport them rapidly around the battlefield.   Adding a Chimera to a squad does not count as one of your Troops choices.

Type: Tank.

Crew: Arbitrators.

Weapons: The Chimera is armed with a turret-mounted multi-laser and a hull-mounted heavy bolter.

Options: A Chimera may be given upgrades from the Vehicle Upgrades in the Arbitrator Armoury.


Transport: RHINO
